Our Facilities
Unlike many of the bigger facilities, Cross Creek Kennel is a smaller facility where Matt Larkin is the main trainer.
Our main kennel building has 6 sliding window bays, 3 doors, and 1 bay door. The building is fully spray-foam insulated.
Sixteen fans circulate air throughout the day. During hot and cold months, we use multiple air conditioner and heater units to help keep the dogs comfortable. We also have a temperature and power monitoring system to help us keep track of possible power failures and building temperatures.
Each dog has a raised bed platform, and all kennels are cleaned at least twice a day.
Our Second Facility
We also have a separate facility used for Labrador Retriever puppies when we have puppies available. All of our puppies are whelped in the house. When they are about 2 to 3 weeks old, they are moved into their own puppy area.
This building is close to the house and separate from the main kennel. It is also air conditioned and heated, with its own airing yards.
We also provide whelping services for purebred dogs that have been through our hunting programs.
We have several technical ponds on our property and access to other training grounds and another nice pond not pictured.
