At Cross Creek Kennel, we offer specialized training programs tailored for gun dogs and pet obedience. Whether you're a dedicated dove or waterfowl hunter or looking for obedience training for your family companion, we have the perfect program for you. OBEDIENCE TRAINING
This program is for pets and family companions. We train medium to large breed dogs.
BASIC GUN DOG TRAINING
This program is for your working retriever or hunting dog. It includes field obedience, mouth work, marking, and steadiness to shot.
INTERMEDIATE RETRIEVER TRAINING - HANDLING
This program is for dogs that have already been through our basic gun dog program. It includes the directional casting/hand signals/blind retrieve training. We also do harder marking concepts.
ADVANCED GUN DOG PROGRAM /HUNT TEST TRAINING
Have you ever wanted to run your dog in hunt tests? What are hunt tests? We run AKC and UKC hunt tests. This is a great way to advance your dog's training and earn titles to their name.
BEFORE THE SEASON TUNE UP TRAINING
For the dogs that have been through our retriever training programs. Get your dog back in shape right before hunting season.
PUPPY HEAD START
For puppies between 4 and 6 months. Includes introduction to retrieving, birds, water, cover, simulated gun fire.
BOARDING
Need to travel and can't take your companion. We board most breeds over 20 lbs.
